Summary
The Professional Development Coordinator has responsibility and accountability for coordinating, facilitating, and monitoring Health Care Professionals (HCP) enrollment and course completion tracking in Health Carousels learning management systems (LMS). This accountability encompasses outcomes, service excellence, human resource issues, quality improvement, compliance, and communication. This position is a baccalaureate graduate with demonstrated coordination expertise who has responsibility for HCP enrollment and continued follow up.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This role will serve under the direction of the CNO to enroll and track enterprise-wide nursing education and professional development programs such as Health Stream course curriculums, course completion tracking and HCP follow up.
This includes but not limited to:
• Orientation and onboarding
• Transition to practice
• RN Residency
• Learning Management Systems (LMS) management
• Lead Health Carousels Light the Way initiatives
• Effectively utilizes available data to monitor and report performance on programs, initiatives, and targeted improvement efforts to ensure educational programs meet organizational needs.
Qualifications

• Education: Baccalaureate preferred
• Previous hospital operations a plus
