About the Role:
This role is responsible for running processing windows for three ACH platforms. We support a high volume ACH processing area that processes approximately 100-150 client maintenance requests each day, and does heavy data entry throughout the day,
About the Team
This position reports to the Manager of ACH Operations. You will be a critical team member on a shift that works on-site Monday - Friday, from 7 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
What you will be doing

• You will be maintaining scheduling systems and applying/implementing new/improved work procedures for the processing environment.
• You will be monitoring applications, systems, and hardware in the processing environment.
• Researching and resolving user problems as well as issues and problems with software systems.
• Makes effective use of tools and resources, such as, Mainframe, Control-M, TSO/ISPF, OPF, GUI in order to problem solve.
• Effectively uses tools such as 3270 Emulator, TSO/ISPF, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc. to solve production or system problems.
• Utilizes manuals, write-ups and other tools as an aid in solving problems. Contacts others who are experienced in the area for problem resolution ideas. Contributes to the knowledge base by adding information that would be helpful to other team members.
• Follows escalation procedures when appropriate to resolve processing problems and user problems in a timely manner and consistently meets all service level standards.
• Trains internal customers (employees) on changes, new systems or new procedures.
• May identify new tools, technology or processes that improve overall processing environment or processing efficiency.
• Assists in defining external and internal customer problems and needs. Discusses expectations with customers. May explain solutions directly to customers where appropriate.
• Completes project assignments and special projects commensurate with job expectations.
• Other related duties assigned as needed

What you bring

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be dependable with ability to work in a fast pace environment
• Strong data entry skills with excellent accuracy
• Basic PC skills with willingness to learn more complex skills in order to problem solve and troubleshoot issues
• Eager to learn and ability to grasp established/new concepts, and processes
• Organizational and time management skills required. Good problem-solving skills
• Self-starter, ability to work independently after training period

Added bonus if you have

• Prior banking or finance related experiences a plus
• Previous experience troubleshooting processes or systems
