Job Description

This role is the subject matter expert for Xplor’s procurement processes and systems (Jaggaer, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Concur, etc…) This includes being the go-to person for: 

• eSourcing event creation (eRFP, RFI, RFQ, etc…) 
• procurement processes and policies (creating purchase requisitions, purchase orders and approval guidelines) 
• invoice processing including approval, matching and payment 
• Negotiating contracts, initiating cost savings and strategic vendor alignment

Essential Responsibilities: 

• Act as liaison between purchasing users (our internal customers) and other core groups such as AP, financial analysts, treasury, tax, controllers, and global finance owners 
• Lead procurement projects to achieve quantifiable savings by applying best-in-class sourcing methods, and contract creation solutions 
• Lead contract negotiations and contract reviews demonstrating expertise and confidence using online contract repository systems, cloud-based e-sourcing, and online vendor communication portals with proficiency.
• Extract data through MS Office/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook/Word reports using our procurement management tool, Jaggaer Manage and support eRFX events across multiple spend categories.
• Identify and capture strategic opportunities for the goods and services purchased 
• Work to establish strong vendor relationships that are built on Xplor’s key values. Work with both new and established suppliers to create vendor partner opportunities 
• Be able to secure meaningful, verifiable cost savings that align with strategic initiatives 
• Work with finance team throughout the procurement cycle to assist with forecasting and budgeting 
• Identify, report, and facilitate opportunities for vendor diversity and inclusion. Work with other Xplor teams to promote, and support larger Xplor vendor diversity initiatives outside of Procurement 
• Lead and participate in special procurement, sourcing, and other projects, as assigned 
• Provide insightful guidance on vendor selection, management, and performance. Assist in creating vendor qualities programs that measure areas including vendor quality, cost savings, and other KPIs. 
• Create KPI dashboard that includes metrics that provide deep insight to vendor performance, cost savings, and other detailed analysis. 
• Provide outstanding customer service to customers (both internal and external) by providing timely responses, representing procurement at meetings and events, and working to promote Xplor’s company values 
• Recognize, analyze, and report Vendor Carbon Footprints. Become Xplor champion for reducing carbon emissions and creating carbon neutral organization 
• Assist in the stand-up of new procurement and finance systems, and the enhancement and change management for existing programs. 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: 

• 5+ Year’s experience in Global Supply Chain, Procurement, Sourcing, Purchasing Management as a buyer, sourcing specialist, Procurement Project Analyst and esourcing event creation and management 
• Expert level abilities in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word 
• Previous experience with Jaggaer, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or Concur 
• Demonstrated experience, and success, in leading procurement projects 
• Knowledge of GAAP and ability to talk fluently regarding AP processes and requirements 
•  quantifiable savings by applying best-in-class sourcing methods, and contract creation solutions 
• Have experience in the creation of contracts for goods, service, and contingent labor for programs more than $1M USD. 
• Be familiar with global purchasing and procurement process; including the ability to research/ interact and lead strategic offshore opportunities and manage purchases through these channels 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Bachelors Degree or 10+ years of equivalent work experience 
• 5+ Years experience working with global suppliers 
• 2+ years experience in preparing and presenting reports to senior staff
