Works with team management to ensure efficient flow of the BWI Shipping operation, provides support with prioritization, coordination with OPMs and Production Management to create and maintain an accurate forecast of contractually due material, manage and monitor Accounts Payable activity for our 3rd party logistics provider, ensure proper invoicing from contract labor team, provide needed information to support team SQDCM efforts, utilize best practices and ensures team has tools and knowledge to make ALL contract delivery dates, help ensure "Return to Vendor" process is within Global Supply Chain requirements, assist in coordinating special projects, maintain all BWI Logistics and Warehousing IWOs and Purchase Orders, perform needed iBUY orders, help to ensure team is compliant with Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) rules and practices.

- Ensures documentation flow (including packaging instructions) are processed accurately, effectively, and efficiently

- Internal Auditor for Transportation Management (ISO, DCMA, etc.)

- Support CAR/DCAR response team in providing corrective actions to DCMA and Mission Assurance teams

- Work with Logistics manager to carry out the goals of upper management and our customers

- Building a solid working relationship with our Programs, Contracts team, OPM community, Security, Environmental, Health, safety, and Fire prevention (EHSFP) team, and Mission Assurance to create an atmosphere of open communication and world class customer service

- Ensure all security process and procedures are being followed at all times

- Solicit and manage shipping forecasts and steady communication with Programs and their OPMs to ensure resources are available to handle projected throughput in shipping

- Assists everyone who has invoicing related questions for quick problem resolution

- Ability to work on-site

- Work with Band 2 Traffic Administrators to review forecast and train as backup

The chosen candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem solving skills, ability to multi-task, and demonstrated leadership skills.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and at least 6+ years of relevant experience, including related experience in transportation industry

- Proficiency with NGMS SAP functions, MS Office applications, SharePoint

- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance or higher

-Ability to lead meetings and present in front of team, management, customers, and or vendors

-Interim clearance to start and to be considere

Preferred Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience with preparing and managing various transportation metrics to help measure the continual improvement of the team

- Minimum of 3 years of actual shipping/logistics processing

- Experience with responding to DCARs and corrective action requests

- Knowledge of creating and submitting PrOP documents (Command Media)

- Understanding of shipping practices CONUS and OCONUS

- Experience with Project cargo logistics/documentation

Salary Range: $72,700.00 - $109,100.00

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to basepay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO)for vacation and/orpersonal business.
