Bring your talent to Raytheon Intelligence and Space and the Advanced Products Center (APC) manufacturing facility in Dallas, Texas.

We have a high visibility opportunity for a Value Stream Leader in our Radio Frequency Microelectronics factory. The Value Stream Leader title is equivalent to the company Principal Specialist role in our manufacturing discipline grade.

You will perform professional work regularly across multiple manufacturing disciplines. This includes activities that cannot be attributed to a defined operations discipline. Responsible for a major portion of processing operations for internal programs in our factory.

This includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

  • Must be able to perform strategic planning, develop relationships, and achieve buy-in from all relevant parties for strategy and vision for the value stream with excellent organizational, planning, and execution skills
  • Must be able to create and maintain working relationships with functional leadership and internal customers with respect to production planning, problem resolution, and process improvement
  • Lead cross functional team responsible for the assembly and test of electronic and/or mechanical products
  • Solve complex operational issues while maintaining open communications and a cooperative work environment
  • Maintain/influence operational metrics with emphasis on safety, quality, schedule, and cost


Desired Skills

  • Experience in Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing policies and procedures and/or experience with RF Components, RF Subassemblies, and RF subsystems
  • Demonstrated experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and other Operational Excellence methodologies
  • Experience using metrics to develop implementation of the MRP plan while achieving cost and schedule requirements


Required Skills:

  • This is a professional position without direct subordinates (no direct reports)
  • Primary focus is on process or product or project management
  • Requires application of expertise and/or advanced knowledge
  • Requires the application of discretion and the exercise of judgment
  • Experience leading in an operations environment
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Familiarity with scheduling and Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) systems
  • Ability and desire to learn and grow skills with goal of taking on a greater level of responsibility in the future
  • High level of computer literacy and advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required
  • Strong management skills including the ability to make decisions with minimal supervision, goal setting, delegation, coaching, motivating
  • Demonstrated initiative, perseverance, and creativity in problem solving


Typically Requires

• A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years
prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.


BS/BA in Operations/Manufacturing, Business, Engineering or any major related to the above job
