We are looking for a senior product leader to join our Growth & Consumer product team. In this role, you will lead the effort to reimagine our current consumer surfaces, build a highly-engaging and delightful discovery experience, and help learners find & discover products that meet their needs. This is a critical role that will support all business verticals - Projects, Courses, Certificates, and our Premium / Degree Credentials.

In this role, you will have a direct impact on achieving consumer revenue and degree recruitment goals. You will set the vision for how each consumer segment discovers content throughout their lifetimeImprove and scale the discovery and nurture experience for high consideration products, such as Degrees.

Responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap and strategy for the consumer discovery experience across the entire Coursera product portfolio. This includes: homepage, search, browse, product pages, cart, checkout, account, etc
  • Build a delightful experience that accommodates needs of different customer segments and connects them to a range of products from professional certificates to stackable credentials and degrees
  • Test and optimize the consumer experience to drive content discovery & engagement, with an emphasis on driving engagement, activation, and conversion for paid premium products (e.g. degrees) to meet ambitious recruitment goals
  • Collaborate closely with teams across learner experience, consumer, enterprise, marketing and degree recruitment to ensure we’re optimizing discovery across our entire ecosystem of products
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, machine-learning, data science and user research to balance frequent product iterations with bigger bets, and ensure the teams are working on the highest ROI initiatives

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of product management experience with direct responsibility over the success of a consumer-facing product or product area

Preferred Qualifications

  • Data-driven. You have experience using a combination of quantitative (A/B testing and multivariate experimentation) as well as qualitative research methods to prioritize and validate ideas.
  • 0-to-1. You have taken products from idea to launch, with proven results post-launch
  • An “owner” mindset. You are biased toward action, a great collaborator, a master simplifier, and someone who pushes towards clarity and delivery.
  • User-first. You understand and speak in terms of user value propositions, and to creatively inspire users to try the product. You take on complex product challenges and find elegant, simplifying solutions to avoid making them our users and partner's problems
  • A high bar across the board -- from your own contributions to the people you work with, to the products you work on
  • A never-ending desire to grow, learn, and change
