We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with federal government contract administration experience in the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and intelligence acquisition space to join our growing Contracts team. This role offers unparalleled opportunities to lead contract activities with a growing and diverse set of partners, take on project oversight responsibilities, and gain valuable experience. The Role:
- Perform life cycle contract administration of government contracts within a diverse portfolio
- Lead and develop business proposals in collaboration with Program Management and Program Finance as well as with subcontractor partners
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and with legal, regulatory, and customer requirements in day-to-day execution and also during audits
- Review, negotiate and execute non-disclosure agreements, associate contractor agreements, teaming agreements, license agreements, and other types of agreements
- Provide guidance on contract and regulatory requirements
- Support purchasing system compliance activities, including customer communications with the DCMA and leading Contractor Purchasing System Reviews (CPSRs)
- Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers, partners, and stakeholders
- Recommend process improvements to scale and optimize contracting activities and practices
- Participate in special projects
Requirements
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance
- More than 5 years of federal government contracting experience with DoD and intelligence customers
- Strong working knowledge of FAR/DFARS and general contracts law principles
- Expertise in purchasing regulations and experience leading/participating in CPSRs
- Familiarity with export control laws and regulations
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply federal regulations and related acquisition policies and guidance
- Experience with various contract types and vehicles (i.e., CPFF, FFP, T&M, Cost-Reimbursement, Labor-Hour, IDIQ, OTA)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
