Our success has led to a continued expansion in both the range of services we offer and our global presence. A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Synaptik Digital for an experienced Presentation Specialist to join our Presentations team.

The Presentation Specialist will take briefs and comprehensively prepare PowerPoint presentations for designated external clients and internal projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables are produced to set timelines with a meticulous attention to detail. The Presentation Specialist will create templates and designs for partner agencies and will work in collaboration with the Design team. In addition, the Presentation Specialist will travel nationally and internationally to provide training and technical support and to create presentations on-site at client conferences and meetings.

As a Presentation Specialist, you will:

  • Work with partner agencies in the delivery of presentation projects, attending brainstorming/kick-off meetings to offer ideas and creative solutions.
  • Manage allocated projects, ensuring consistency and high quality is achieved.
  • Provide live event support, both on-site and virtual.
  • Support the company in the development, formatting, templating (template transfer and slide master development) and delivery of presentations and presentation-related multimedia.
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations, including layout, formatting and distribution through various media (print, web, laptop, virtual meetings, projection).
  • Develop presentations for use in live and virtual conference meetings, scientific events, new business initiatives and internal communications.
  • Prepare presentations to be integrated into layout of other materials, including publications, publicity materials, exhibition displays and conference promotional literature.
  • Use the animation and transition features within PowerPoint to develop effective, professional presentations.

 Education, experience and skills required:

  • Prior experience developing/editing presentations on-site in live events/meetings.
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint, including template development, formatting, colour palette, font palette, charts, graphics, animations figure development, diagram building, multimedia incorporation and slide management.
  • Knowledge and experience in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Understanding of the purpose and harmony of programs.
  • Experience/background in medical communications and/or healthcare is desirable.
  • Exceptional eye for detail and consistency is crucial.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team but also able to use initiative and be pro-active.
  • Excellent time-management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects to tight deadlines.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
