Prepare graphic files for print across all packaging print platforms while maintaining the integrity of the content art, design and brand. Responsible for image processing, including retouching, page makeup, file formatting, silhouettes, trapping, air brushing, color corrections and related operations. Create image proofs and make file revisions as needed. May create impositions to process jobs for press.

Successful Candidate will be required to present acceptable proof that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before working onsite at DFIN.

Demonstrated knowledge and talent as a designer, including the ability to combine function and visual appearance to achieve successful communication. Strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as good organizational and planning skills are required. Requires knowledge of graphic designs terminology, equipment, and techniques. Knowledge of photography, drawing, color, and design. Excellent skill in the use of appropriate computer software applications and skill in producing/manipulating electronic files. Good knowledge of print manufacturing and the printing process. Excellent hand and eye coordination and color discrimination and ability to create visually aesthetic representations within accepted design practices. Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning specifications.
General Education and Work Requirements
Education Level High School or more
Reasoning Apply principles of rational systems to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form.
Mathematics Able to perform arithmetic, algebraic, and geometric procedures in standard practical applications.
