What you will be doing:
Lead a defined geography or special practice area of the consulting practice. Establish and maintain strong client relationships by consistently exceeding client expectations, leading high-profile engagements, demonstrating subject matter expertise and assigning and directing qualified staff.
GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES• Leads high-profile engagements, assigns tasks and holds people accountable. Gains trust and respect of each client by establishing and maintaining effective relationships. Understands and anticipates changing client needs. Expands revenue from existing clients.• Develops new business opportunities by collaborating with sales resources, strategizing on "attack plans", participating in prospect meetings and broader industry events, preparing proposals, contributing thought leadership and building references.• Establishes, maintains and fully utilizes a team of qualified professionals by recruiting ahead of needs, motivating staff to reach full potential and actively tracking staff utilization.• Contributes to divisional revenue, EBITDA and forecasting objectives.• Makes timely, informed decisions and communicates rationale with factual accuracy and clarity.• Adapts to changing business circumstances with appropriate actions and positive attitude.• Chairs internal committees covering subject matter expertise.• Drives employee engagement.• Stays abreast of market and industry trends and project credibility in chosen area of expertise.• Collaborates with other leaders throughout FIS.• Builds organizational structure to meet business goals and objectives.• Works with FIS talent acquisition to recruit people of high caliber.• Mentors, motivates and guides performance of others creating an effective team environment.• Sets appropriate standards of behavior and leads by example, addresses performance and behavioral issues in a timely and professional manner and recognizes, appreciates and leverages strengths of others to accomplish company objectives.• Participates in setting business development strategy for defined geography or special practice area.• Demonstrates technical competence in assigned consulting practice.• Actively pursues opportunities to develop expertise and drive innovation.• Develops, coordinates and participates in variety of educational programs.• Develops thought leadership, represents FIS at industry events and participates in prospect meetings.• Analyzes management reports and implement strategies to improve business performance.• Effectively pursues and applies best practices to advance business and company goals.• Promotes continuous improvement while seeking opportunities to grow the business, add value and maximize profit.• Manages staff utilization, schedules and performance standards.• Manages project profitability and client satisfaction.• Understands and adheres to FIS policies and procedures, as well as governing laws and regulations.• Complies with information security and risk management policies and take appropriate action to secure FIS' business environment.• Other related duties assigned as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a Finance or Operations role in a Commercial Bank, ideally aligned to Loan Servicing as part of a Project team, preferably as a Business Analyst
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products including Word, Excel, and Project. Visio experience ideal
