About the team:

The FIS Americas Banking and Digital Consulting team provides project based services to help our banking customers create their unique service solutions. You will be working with a team of highly skilled consultants providing innovate solutions utilizing a variety of FIS products and services.
What you will be doing:
You will be leading our largest Americas Banking client engagements with a team of talented professionals to deliver a complex set of solutions. You will be the primary point of contact for the customer and FIS, often interfacing with C-Level executives. You will be responsible for building a positive relationship while addressing client concerns, managing client escalations and setting appropriate expectations that result in a positive program outcome. With your leadership, you will be responsible for the success of the overall program. Additionally, you will be:

  • Managing complex client engagements using a team approach, proven methodologies, and excellent communication that ensures success
  • Consulting with sales, account management and clients on the appropriate offerings to meet specific client requirements and strategic business needs
  • Designing and implementing practice offerings to support specific client requirements or address market opportunities
  • Serves as pre-sales support specialist as needed with sales and account management to create and close sales opportunities. This may include developing proposals, statements of work, negotiating pricing, determining project staffing, planning engagement projects and delivering prospect presentations
  • Identifying business process improvements for increased efficiency and enhanced client experience
  • Mentoring and developing resources to grow practice knowledge within a services organization
  • Interacting with Line of Business executives/senior leaders
  • Maintaining quality client relationships with both internal and external clients to gain referrals for new clients and achieve excellent client satisfaction and client loyalty


What you bring:
You will bring the following key skills and experience to help us succeed:

  • Experience leading large complex programs with competing priorities
  • Adept at leading executive level strategic conversations with the ability to drive to decisions
  • An understanding of financial and banking solutions
  • Comfortable leading difficult customer conversations including negotiating potential tradeoffs
  • An understanding of working within a consulting organization to drive revenue
  • Excellent organization, team-building, coaching and mentoring, project management and time management skills
  • Strong financial management and planning skills
  • Strong analytical, statistical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent skills in communicating ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise and professional manner
  • Proven success in building positive relationships with both clients and internal stakeholders
  • Willing to travel 25% to 50% or as needed
  • Typically requires twenty or more years of related experience


Added bonus if you have:

  • Experience leading core banking conversions/mergers
  • Experience leading agile projects and integrating traditional methodologies within a program
  • Managing relationships and contracts with third parties
