As a Portal Manager, you'll play an integral role in building and maintaining the web portals supporting the Legacy MMIS environment. You will manage the development and maintenance teams to ensure that proposed technical solutions are implemented and maintained per the clients requirements. You'll also work with the account teams supporting the portal applications.

We need someone who can:

  • Directs the activities associated with design, development, testing, installation, and maintenance of software and systems to support business applications.
  • Manages senior staff, ensuring client expectations are being met.
  • Manages system and staffing resources ensuring projects are implemented on schedule and within budget.
  • Identifies possible project risks and recommends risk mitigation solutions.
  • Establish, maintain, and review policy and procedures for the portal area
  • Reviews status of portal applications and prepares recommendations for improvements.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Experience in managing portal development and maintenance in Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) environment
  • Demonstrated comprehensive experience managing the planning, developing, testing, and implementing of software application changes
  • Demonstrated comprehensive experience using software development lifecycle methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage large scale concurrent

    projects and effectively respond to unanticipated customer business priorities

  • Demonstrated ability to manage staff in a complex IT environment
  • A degree in Information Systems or Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Interpersonal skills to interact with staff, management, support personnel, client and interfacing agencies/companies.
  • Communication skills to work effectively with staff, management, support personnel, client and interfacing agencies/companies.

Preferred Qualifications For Consideration:

  • 10 years development exposure in J2EE based Web related technologies.
  • Strong Portal developer using WebSphere Portal
  • Experience with JSF /Hibernate and integration experience with other applications
    • Experience with JSR 168 Portlets/ Java Specifications Request 168 Portlets
    • Experience with JSF Portlets/ Java Server Faces
  • Experience using Unified Modeling Language (UML).

    Experience using development tools (e.g. WID,RAD,eclipse)

  • Agile Development Experience

The Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requires employers to disclose the following information. If the successful applicant will be required to perform work from a physical site outside Colorado, the following information may not apply.Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation or sick time. For Colorado considerations only the estimated salary range is $114,730 - $149,000.
