Job Summary

Responsible for the day-to-day plan administration of retirement plans. This role acts as the primary resource for the day-to-day contact for the customer's retirement plan.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain client relationships (internal and external)
  • Retain an assigned book of business or work on a team servicing a pooled group of retirement plans
  • Effectively interpret complex plan provisions and ensure systems are programmed in compliance with the legal plan document provisions and operating in accordance with the IRS and DOL regulations
  • Ensure all regulatory deadlines are met timely
  • Collaborate with and provide support to internal and external key stakeholders to service clients needs
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency and innovation in process
  • Timely review of reports for accuracy and proactively consult with clients to enhance the administration of the retirement plan
  • Attend client meetings and RFPs when needed
  • Acts a resource for others and assist with process improvement initiatives
  • Participate in projects
  • May engage in RFPs, Sales Finals, etc.
  • May participate in-person/virtual client meetings

Job Requirements

Required Education and/or Certifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or
  • 2+ years related experience and industry designation (QKA, QPA, APA)

Recommended Education and/or Certifications

  • Recommended College Major: Finance, Accounting, Business or Math

Required Work Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in retirement plan administration in a daily environment, TPA or Advisor Firm
  • Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background

Salary Band: 05A

As a condition of employment, OneAmerica requires that all new hires who receive a job offer on or after April 18, 2022 provide evidence of full or partial vaccination against COVID-19 within three days of accepting an offer letter with OneAmerica and before employment begins. This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN.The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in IN as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
