Job Description As a member of our Software Engineering Group, we look first and foremost for people who are passionate around solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Our platform is used by Advisors and End clients to effectively help them with their Wealth management needs. As a software engineer- Performance Engineer you will identify the capacity of the current system and its impact on the future growth based on market volatility. You will work with a group of talented engineers in new build efforts to deliver products of the highest standard. Your deep experience in application design, solutions architect, analytics, development and testing will be required to complement our strategic direction and solve complex problems.
Qualifications

  • University degree, or specialized training or equivalent work experience
  • Good understanding and advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Good experience in Wealth Management Trading platforms (Equity, MF, Options) and Order Management systems.
  • Performance Testing Requirement gathering, planning, scripting, execution, with different types of non-functional requirements gathering along with Performance Impact Analysis.
  • Performance engineering using tools including JMeter, HP LoadRunner, Performance Center, Blazemeter
  • Capacity planning for different Trading & Portfolio applications by performing 10 times of current load of users.
  • Chaos Engineering planning & Execution by collaborating with different Product and Technology teams
  • AWS Cloud native experience, monitoring using cloud watch , setting up alerting , creating dashboard using Datadog
  • Identify the Performance bottleneck for different applications and business flows, provide recommendations on resolving the issues.
  • Creating Monitoring Dashboards and alerts using different tools like Dynatrace, Grafana, Wily Introscope , Perfmon, AppDynamics, Heap Analyzer, Fiddler, HTTP Watch.
  • Configuring CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins with DevOps Techniques.
  • Site Reliability Engineering on Cloud hosted applications and writing complex search queries, log analysis, monitoring /telemetry/dashboard reports & alerting using Dynatrace, Splunk.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Version Control tools (BitBucket, Git).
  • Experience in Automation testing using tools like Selenium with Java or Rest API Automation will be added advantage.
  • Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Managing/tracking work using management tools like JIRA along with following/promoting Agile practices like TDD/BDD.
  • Research new technologies, identify and learn best practice, adapt quickly and provide technical guidance to other team members
  • Work with multiple globally distributed teams to deliver solutions across regions
  • Advice, collaborate and synthesize feedback from Wealth Managers and Product Desks
