Location:Fort Mill

Reports to: Manager - HR Specialized Services

The Pension Coordinator provides support for Pension Plans (US & CAN). This role includes providing support to Pension Plan Specialists within HR Shared Services, Payroll and the Pension Center of Expertise for all questions relating to system interfaces with external program administrators, rule changes in the IT management system and reconciliations or calculations of contribution remittances to Treasury.

More specifically, you will have to:

  • Validate system data compliance to ensure results are adequate for various requests pertaining to pension and 401k plans;
  • Prepare and send contributions and loan payments to the provider;
  • Prepare electronic transfer requests for each of the appropriate plans and ensure the accuracy of data transferred; and handle manual corrections to files,
  • Prepare and send data required to the provider at each pay period, as well as year-end files;
  • Review the provider's processes and examine exceptions or errors; ensure that information on demographic changes, data collection, contributions, salaries and hours worked is consistent;
  • Participate in the annual validation of pension adjustment amounts;
  • Assist and support internal and external auditors during annual audits;
  • Answer questions and provide assistance to various internal resources.

Your profile:

  • College or University degree in administration, accounting or a related field;
  • 2 years of experience in pension plans;
  • Proficiency in SAP is an invaluable asset;
  • Fluent in English and a working knowledge of French
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills, meticulousness and an ability to summarize information;
  • Capable of quickly understanding and adapting to a fast-paced and changing environment;
  • Enjoy working with numbers and systems;
  • Recognized for your problem-solving skills;
  • Dynamic approach in your communication with colleagues
  • Advanced level of knowledge of Excel;

You must successfully complete a selection process that includes interviews, aptitude tests (for some positions) as well as pre-employment verification.
