Job Description

Designs, develops, tests, and debugs software tools, flows, PDK design components, and/or methodologies used in design automation and by teams in the design of hardware products, process design, or manufacturing. Responsibilities include capturing user stories/requirements, writing both functional and test code, automating build and deployment, and/or performing unit, integration, and endtoend testing of the software tools.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and internship experience.
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or relevant scientific STEM major 4+ years of professional experience or Masters with 3+ of professional experience in physical layout verification knowledge in at least one of the following areas: Synopsys IC Verification, Siemens/Mentor Calibre; Resolving DRC/LVS/density issues; Process layout design rule from DRM (Design Rule Manuals); Runset development

Preferred:
  • Intel and/or external foundry process technology knowledge in advance nodes

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
