This position is with Evernorth, a new business within the Cigna Corporation

Job Profile Summary

Owns the financial strategy, analytics, and execution regarding supply chain value for Express Scripts' clients. Identifies key business operating issues and monitoring associated execution. Partners closely with finance and underwriting, clinical strategy for formulary solutions, and pharma manufacturing contracting to ensure optimal client value. Leads team responsible for overseeing interpretation of client benefits for appropriate clinical drug contracts entries. Maintains a focus on financial elements of, and anticipated consequences from key business segment activities. Monitors progress against business plans and strategies in order to pinpoint key activities and performance variances. Translates objectives into strategic plans with a medium- to long-term view.

This position reports directly to the Chief Pharma Trade Relations Officer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversees financial analysis and modeling strategy for supply chain value within existing and new client opportunities, ensuring alignment with clinical and contracting teams
  • Oversees all financial analysis associated with supply chain value for clients, including future forecasting expectations to align with client contract needs
  • Oversees pharma invoicing analytics, pharma audit, and benefit driven set-up optimization



Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 12-14 years' industry experience solving business problems with bachelor's
  • Master's in finance preferred
  • Proven track record for success in leading high-performing teams in a matrixed environment
  • Demonstrated thought leadership on challenging problems with examples of implementing innovative analytic solutions and driving outstanding results
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in complex matrix organizations and agile teams
  • Blend creativity, relentless problem-solving, business acumen, and leadership to drive innovation through analytics working with Innovation team
  • Strong verbal/written communication and leadership skills to work with various matrix partners, including but not limited to actuarial, medical economics, business, marketing, and engineering
  • Ability to manage a vision and purpose with various business stakeholders and analytics teams
  • Effective leadership, prioritization and management of complex deliverable portfolio in a dynamic environment
