Could this be you?

Based in Houston, the Patient Engagement Representative responsible for managing work time and schedules for the Village Medical and Village Medical at Home Nurse Practitioners.  The Patient Engagement Representative are responsible for scheduling nurses or aides for wellness visits.  The Patient Engagement Representative will primarily make outbound calls to the prospective patients to schedule the needed visits.

How you can make a difference

  • Making outbound calls in a calm, courteous, and professional manner to schedule a variety of visit types
  • Receive inbound calls from patients
  • Identify and handle patient needs, while working in a team environment
  • Collect and update new patient’s demographic and insurance information; verify and update established patient’s demographic and insurance information
  • Schedule patient appointments accurately in EMR system according to established policies and procedures
  • Submit appropriate and detailed documentation for patient appointments and patient cases in EMR system
  • Maintain awareness of changes/updates within Village Medical and/or Village Medical at Home by attending departmental meetings and reading emails
  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding the productivity and quality standards

Experience to drive change

  • Minimum 2 years of call center experience required, healthcare environment preferred
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule (must be available to work full-time between the hours of 7am-7pm CST Monday-Friday)
  • High school graduate or GED
  • Experience making outbound calls
  • Experience working in a remote (work from home) environment, preferred
  • Bilingual – English and Spanish, preferred
