We're starting a new lending program to continue to accomplish this mission. We operate like a startup within Remitly, combining the best parts of working in an early-stage venture with the resources of a later-stage technology company. About the Role:

Reporting to Passbook's VP of Product, you will lead a team to launch our lending program and own the P&L. Going from zero-to-one will require you to be hands-on day-to-day while simultaneously charting a longer term vision and strategy. You will help build and lead a single threaded, dedicated squad of engineers, product managers, analysts, compliance folks, and marketers to hypothesize, test, and build products that delight our customers while creating a thriving business. As an early stage team, you will have end-to-end accountability for the success of this program and how it will scale. You are especially strong in taking large, hard, ambiguous goals, and operationalizing to product success.

Who You are:

• Customer first, product first, and curious
• Strong ability to synthesize complex information from multiple domains (product, credit, business, compliance, legal, partners, marketing, etc.) and drive decisions
• 3+ years people management experience
• 3+ years in consumer lending in product, business analysis, credit or related functions
• Direct product management experience
• Scrappy problem solver and business builder
• Someone willing to challenge ideas and aim for the stars
• Experience with leadership in a matrixed environment
• Executive communication skills, both written and verbal
• Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or quantitative field (Engineering, Business, Finance, Statistics, or related field)
