WHAT YOU’LL DO:

The Partner Technology Partnerships Sr. Manager primarily develops and manages Duck Creek’s go-to-market partnerships, contribute to an assured customer experience that also are significant to Duck Creek’s Product & SaaS.  Outcomes are tied to measurable impact to go-to-market, successful customer engagement, and Product & SaaS related project milestones.

  • Responsible for creating, managing and leveraging Technology partner relationships:
    • Work closely with the Partner Insurance practice to ensure:
      • Mutual Knowledge-sharing of products, solutions, target market, prospect coverage
    • Alignment/Engagement with the Partners includes:
      • Partner/Alliance
      • GTM teams (Sales, Client Execs, Marketing, Pre-Sales)
      • Product teams
      • Customer Success teams
    • Alignment/Engagement within Duck Creek includes:
      • GTM teams (Sales Leaders, Solution Dev, Solution Con, Marketing)
      • Engineering/Product teams
      •  CF&O (Services) org
    • For GTM Activities outcomes/metrics would include both Revenue influenced as well as Joint Marketing
    • For Product Integration Activities outcomes/metrics would include results from agreed upon projects
    • For Customer Success Activities outcomes/metrics would include joint client alignment both during implementation and afterward
  • Participate in the recruitment, ramp up and on-going management of new Technology Partners for distinct solutions, regions, and value-add.
  • Work with Procurement in the Contractual relationships (Master Partner Agreement as well as the Statement of Work) for the Technology Partners. Also works closely with Legal, GTM Sales Ops, and Product/Engineering internally in this regard.

WHAT YOU’VE DONE:

  • 15 years of experience with business-to-business relationship development and management 
  • 5 years of experience in financial services technology, preferably insurance services and core software
  • Minimum of 5 years of enterprise software partner, Software services or SI experience
  • Negotiation and contracting experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and oral)
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated communication effectiveness is of high importance
  • Must possess or develop solid knowledge of Duck Creek products, product messaging, partner capabilities and positioning, competitor positioning, and our near & long-term product strategies.
  • Desired
    • Additional language capabilities
  • Knowledge of insurance principals and operations with an emphasis on property & casualty insurance within Insurance Carriers as well as Partner Practices
  • Travel: 25+%
  • Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in the country of the job location.
  • Physical: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work
