About the job
The Red Hat Global Systems Integrator (GSI) team is looking for a Chief Architect to join us. In this role, you will lead Red Hat's success and solution strategies with global and regional system integrators and in supporting partners in developing their industry solutions and vertical alliances ecosystems with Red Hat technologies. To succeed, you'll need a deep understanding of the cloud platform technologies and how they are positioned to GSIs. You'll lead the GSI open hybrid cloud platform vision in partnership with the Red Hat product and solutions teams. You'll ensure that Red Hat solutions and innovations are integrated in the creation of joint solutions that lead to measured business outcomes, align with the system integrator (SI) industry go-to-market mandates with Red Hat Sales teams, and develop industry specific outcomes targeted at specific early adopters. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.
What you will do

  • Develop a comprehensive industry solutions and services strategy for the top global and regional system integrators which aligns to the global solution strategy and the top selling priorities for the Red Hat Business Units
  • Translate the technical advantages of Red Hat portfolio to an architected solution sales and services approach to an ecosystem of global system integrators
  • Establish and closely monitor specific reference architectures that increase the scalable adoption of Red Hat technologies within target industries, global accounts, and key customer targets
  • Motivate, coach, and mentor the solution architect teams globally to grow existing partner solutions and capture new business throughout the global landscape by developing net new industry specific solution strategies; design strategic solution partnership plans, accelerate presence in addressable markets, and create a thoughtful integration plan with the partner and Red Hat sales teams
  • Provide an industry framework for the SI partners to grow their Red Hat certifications and solution development skills
  • Provide disciplined, ethical, and focused leadership to guide a globally matrixed and distributed solution architect team that will foster success based on a culture of respect for partners, customers, associates, and Red Hat's values
  • Work closely with the Go-to-Market teams in developing best practices and using each other's strengths within the GSI ecosystem
  • Support the solutions architecture leadership team within the GSI
  • Use the capabilities and guide the development and effectiveness of the global system integrator solution architect team


What you will bring

  • 15+ years of leadership responsibility in a technology (preferably software) organization, or technology consulting environment, with demonstrated success achieving partner reference architectures, strategic industries, and contributing to the development of partner reference architectures
  • 10+ years of experience working within or for a GSI or vertically aligned business
  • Record of building and delivering technical strategies and solutions architecture plans which support the scalable growth of partnerships and ecosystems
  • Demonstrated experience developing an integrated architecture plan to support Hybrid Multi-Cloud, Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), Anything-as-a-Service (Xaas), Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), and on-premise use cases
  • Excellent skills and comfortable in leading and guiding cross functional team members in a dynamic, matrixed, diverse, and globally aligned environment
  • Partner-focused mindset in bringing them consumable and scalable solutions
  • Proven abilities in partnering with senior business and technology leaders on main stage presentations
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and design novel approaches that balance local customer needs with corporate guidelines and philosophies
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical discipline; MBA is is a plus
