Title: Part-Time Student-Administrative Assistant Engineering-Fargo ND - 84875
Onsite/Remote: Onsite Position
The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company's regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule year-round.
Your Responsibilities
- Perform and coordinate administrative functions in support of the PV engineering manager, PV engineers and other engineering managers.
- Complete monthly reporting, organizational chart maintenance, PowerPoint assistance, meeting calendar maintenance and other duties as assigned.
- Provide initial data entry for new PV projects. Complete projects setup activities such as reception, inspection and labeling of incoming parts.
- Audit and maintain contents of engineering storage areas through data entry, contents tracking and auditing
- Audit adherence to existing policies and practices within product verification and validation department.
- Learn, apply, and recommend policies and practices that facilitate product verification and validation testing and reporting; learn company products
- Provide timely communication and correspondence with colleagues and stakeholders
- Schedule events and participate in team building activities
- Coordinate and prepare packages for shipment in a timely manner
- Build trust and respect of colleagues and stakeholders by consistently executing on responsibilities
What Skills You Need
- Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Business Administration; others may apply
- Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited university
- Graduation date of May 2023 or later.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
- Available to work during the academic year (12-24 weekly hours)
- Available to work during the summer semester (24-40 weekly hours)
- Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily (shift) basis
- Must be able to occasionally commute between John Deere Facilities in Fargo, North Dakota
