This occupation requires the layout , mockup, fabrication , and installation of tubing systems on production, prototype, and experimental products, incorporation of engineering changes, and the fabrication of master tube templates . Setup and operate all tube bending, coiling (coil), flaring, burring, swaging, banding and brazing equipment,including manual and automated tube bending and banding equipment and performing pressure testing of tubing and tubing auxiliary details, this also includes electro chem-etch identification , elastomeric swaging using manual portable swagers, and semi-automatic swagers, tube cleaning, preparing, and finishing. Inspects formed and trimmed weldments, wood and plastic parts, detail parts, and assemblies with precision measuring instruments and gauges as primary inspection tools. Check compound angels,compound and reverse contours, and precision tolerance coordinated dimensions.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Huntington Beach, CA.Position Responsibilities:

• Plan operations by reference to work orders, detailed blueprints, process specifications, sketches, bend data charts, sample parts, master tube and/or mast templates and vector data. Perform complete setup and operate all types of manual and automated tubing machines for fabricating, bending and brazing.
• Perform layout and plan work operations for tubing assemblies , using blueprints and vector/lazer data. Form and bend production or developmental tubes without using templates or procedure cards. Develop own temples, bend radius templates (BRT's), and bend data as required.
• Perform layout and plan work operations for coil tubing/bending using blueprints and tooling. Coil and bend production or developmental tubes without using templates or procedure cards. Develop own temples, bend radius templates (BRT's), and bend data as required.
• Mock up tube routing by bending and fitting by hand a soft metal rod or tube between fittings, units and other installations involving multiple bends and sharp angles in several geometric planes on production, prototype, and experimental assemblies or parts from pre-released drawings, engineering prints, sketches , or verbal orders. Layout tube route or contours from blueprints, drawings or sketches. May layout hole pattern on bulkheads and instrument panels.
• Perform such typical operations as washing and cleaning of tubes to remove dirt and ink. Perform hand burring, bonding, capping, banding, swaging , drilling, facing, and trimming. Assemble detail fittings , nuts, sleeves, and collars etc.
• Perform and operate all types of swaging on tube assembly's including elastomeric swaging using manual portable and semi automatic swage equipment. Perform layout and application of banding and or electro-chem-etch identification on tube assembly's, using blueprints and heat seal banding tape using a heat sealer gun as requiredper specification and identify using chemical etching equipment.
