As the Innovation Coordinator - Home Care, you will work on our best-selling, flagship brand, Grove Co., with the Senior Innovation Manager, Home Care team and the Owned Brands multifunctional team. Your support will help make sustainable living the natural choice for homes across America. You’ll work with a network of like-minded manufacturers and across the Grove organization to support bringing innovative, leading edge new products and to build the future of a brand that stands apart in the Home Care category.

YOUR IMPACT:

  • Conduct competitive analysis: On an ongoing basis, leverage data and conduct analysis including but not limited to white spaces, claims, new segments, competitive landscape to uncover powerful insights and growth opportunities for the brand 
  • Own Grove Co.’s ambassador program: Coordinate with suppliers and cross departmentally to ensure the program is on time in full for every brand launch
  • Provide creative support: Work with the Innovation Manager to brief creative on copy and design needs and to conduct the team artwork review and approval process. Work with Research and Development and Regulatory to ensure all copy is globally compliant.
  • Manage samples at all stages of product development - from idea to launch.
  • Circulate and ensure inbound product samples are tested by the team; aggregate feedback and help determine next steps. Keep inbound samples organized.
  • Manage all pre-production and production sample requests from cross-functional partners: photo, video, PR, etc. and ensure timely delivery.
  • Manage sampling program: Along with Innovation Manager, determine best products to trial with customers and then manage sample size product launches.
  • Serve as liaison between owned brands and the Community Happiness (customer service) team. Regularly attend meetings and respond to CH requests as needed.
  • Own SKU set-up and maintenance as well as database management.
  • Provide administrative support as needed. Own SKU create and database management. Assist with team shipments. Help manage budget.

ABOUT YOU:

  • You have 2-3 years on experience marketing, innovation, ideally in the CPG industry
  • You are eager to learn and ask questions, particularly around the product development process.
  • You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly iterative environment.
  • You are a self-starter, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • You are highly organized and able to manage several projects at once and communicate with numerous touch points including cross functional partners in R&D, Supply Chain, Creative, Product Marketing, Merchandising.
  • You are comfortable working in ambiguous spaces and figuring out how to move forward when there isn’t an existing path.
  • You are passionate about leaving a positive impact in the world.
  • You are product obsessed.
  • You have experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
  • You are based in or excited to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing/communications/project management or related field; 2 years of experience preferred.
