The OT Infrastructure Specialist provides support for all Corteva OT (manufacturing and process automation) platforms and systems through Manufacturing Control Network (MCN) infrastructure specification and technical documentation, integration of Corteva OT solutions into the DCS systems, support of AD and firewall policies to allow proper access and communication from either AD security or network firewall policies, and commissioning and startup support. Apply Corteva OT and industry best practices and standards to specify and ensure secure, reliable management and maintenance of new process control and manufacturing systems developed through system migration or new construction efforts. Work with a team of peer OT subject matter experts, manufacturing personnel, Process Automation experts, IT experts, and project resources, both internal and external, to align on strategy, timing, and deliverables. Develop and coach members of Process Automation community, Manufacturing teams, OT and IT leads to increase infrastructure reliability, resource effectiveness and productivity.

Primary Responsibilities - How will you help us Grow:

  • Lead and/or support implementation of Corteva OT infrastructure standards and best practices across all Corteva OT and Process Automation platforms globally, working with other process automation engineers, IT and OT professionals.
  • Lead and/or support training activities to support these functions across the corporation's manufacturing sites as part of RTO (Return To Operation) procedures.
  • Lead or provide support for the evaluation, installation, and maintenance of MCN infrastructure.
  • Support commissioning and startup activity of new process control systems.
  • Lead and/or support the definition of run and maintain requirements for OT infrastructure (networks and systems) and the support model needed to meet those requirements across OT, IT, PA, Manufacturing, and External/Partner Support resources.

Qualifications

Qualifications - What You'll Bring to the Table

  • BS degree in Computer Engineering and at least five years of IT/OT work experience and training in a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge in evaluation and design of MCN infrastructures, network levels and cyber security best practices to protect IACS control systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of IACS standards and practices including IEC 62443.
  • Familiarity with OT network design (ISA-95 or ISA-99).
  • Demonstrated skills in managed network switches, firewalls, and VM hosts, VMware ESXI systems.
  • Basic understanding of DCS and PLC systems including basic troubleshooting, understanding regulatory control layer and automation layer.
  • Demonstrated project leadership skills factory acceptance testing, commissioning, and startup.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and implement multiple concurrent projects.
  • Good interpersonal and conflict resolution skills with the ability to influence managers, peers, and mechanics; able to take a "hands-on" approach with operators and mechanics to get things done.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (both oral and written)
