Description

The Organization Effectiveness Lead leads the talent and organization effectiveness efforts for the top leadership of the Primary Care Organization (PCO), Pharmacy, and Home Solutions businesses. This position focuses on assessing, identifying, developing and implementing projects and initiatives to drive transformation and change that supports the organization's overall strategy, objectives, and priorities. This person may develop change management strategies, design and implement team and individual development, and drive talent mobility initiatives. This role advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. The Organization Effectiveness Lead exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, use of independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Responsibilities

The Organization Effectiveness Lead will:

  • Plan, design, and implement programs, processes, and interventions to improve the overall results of the organization through partnerships with the business and HR leadership.
  • Partner with Inclusion & Diversity, business leadership, and other HR teams to plan and implement business-specific I&D strategies and initiatives.
  • Leverage enterprise talent standards and playbooks to develop 12-24 month talent road map at the segment or function level
  • Create connection, transparency, and operationalize the various touchpoints around talent/I&D/organizational effectiveness for aligned HRBPs
  • Lead organization through all processes related to talent management system, including annual workforce planning, goal setting, performance management, development planning, and succession management.
  • Enable robust succession planning and development; drive the executive talent review preparation and succession consultation with segment or function leadership, identify developmental opportunities to advance talent mobility initiatives for senior-level talent.
  • Drive development and talent mobility actions to increase the pipeline of diverse talent
  • Partner with key stakeholders and HR Leadership to promote best practices and the collaborative delivery of change initiatives; directs and supports various organizational aspects of change initiatives such as job and organizational design, change management methodology, and organizational culture.
  • Leverage deep technical knowledge to coach senior executives on interventions that strengthen leadership capability and organizational effectiveness in the following areas:
    • Associate and Leader Development
    • Associate Experience
    • Culture and Values
    • Organization Design
    • Change Management
    • Team Performance



Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in the areas of HR Business Partnership, Leadership Development, Talent Management, Associate Experience, Culture and Values, Organization Design, Change Management or Team Performance.
  • Demonstrated experience effectively partnering with business leaders at multiple levels; high level of business acumen
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and guide leaders through ambiguous challenges and outcomes in an emotionally intelligent way
  • Demonstrated ability to work through complexities, create simplicity and streamline the approach for business units/leaders
  • Highly data oriented with a customer centric view; ability to translate data insights into stories and actions
  • Ability to understand business strategies and translate them into actionable and compelling talent development initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success developing, designing and executing talent development programs and strategies across various functional disciplines.
  • Proven experience in diagnosing solutions for organization improvement opportunities and providing consultation for best results and outcome.
  • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous, complex and dynamic environment
  • Experience with maintaining and handling sensitive employee and business data
  • Travel potential up to 25%



Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Organizational Development/Effectiveness, Organizational Psychology, Talent Management, Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • Proven experience developing a talent road map across a large enterprise.
  • Proven experience in process development for Talent Reviews across a large enterprise.
  • Passion for impacting the associate and leadership experience across culture, associate experience, and change management.
  • Proven experience driving and implementing initiatives that impact multiple stakeholder groups
  • Demonstrated success in managing the people and performance aspects of large-scale change initiatives
  • Proven experience in collaborative and influential partnering with executive leadership as well as HR cross-functional partners.
  • Experience with Power BI, Workday, and/or Perceptyx



Work Location/Style

This position has the ability to work remote within the US, or it can also be a hybrid workstyle if preferred and if located near a Humana office (i.e. Louisville, KY).

Additional Information

Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. Associates who remain unvaccinated must either undergo weekly negative COVID testing OR wear a mask at all times while in a Humana facility or while working in the field.

Work-At-Home Requirements:
Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office.
