Description

The Organization Effectiveness (OE) Lead optimizes the effectiveness of the company by developing, implementing, and administering strategies, policies, and standards to achieve HR program goals. Analyzes the internal structure of the organization and create strategies to maximize employee work output and effectively utilize employee skills. The Organization Effectiveness Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops and implements enterprise policies, programs, and standards on Org Effectiveness Practices
  • Designs robust "playbooks" (processes, templates, frameworks, timelines, and relevant tools) in order to enable business facing HR teams to deliver OE interventions that enable the business to achieve objectives
  • Support completion of research regarding external best practices, industry standards, and emerging trends to support continuous improvement within function
  • Support completion of benchmarking comparisons and analysis of results to support improvements
  • Support evaluation of program effectiveness and help drive remediation plans to implement improvements

  • Makes recommendations involving other functions and other business units based on advanced knowledge/experience

  • Little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments; establishes own work priorities and timelines



Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Organization Development or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in the areas of Leadership Development, Talent Management, Associate Experience, Culture and Values, Organization Design, Change Management and Team Performance.
  • Proven experience in collaborative and influential partnering with executive leadership as well as HR cross-functional partners.
  • Ability to understand business strategies and translate them into actionable and compelling talent management and organization effectiveness initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success in diagnosing, developing and implementing solutions for organization improvement opportunities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous, complex and dynamic environment
  • Experience with maintaining and handling sensitive employee and business data


Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of best practices, industry research and benchmarking to drive value for areas of purview
  • Analytical skills to ensure initiatives are fact-based and drive business outcomes
  • Ability to influence and manage upwards to affect change among business and HR leaders
  • Demonstrated progressive experience in independently managing tasks and assigning responsibilities
  • Ability to work with a cross-functional team of resources across multiple locations who contribute across an entire life cycle
  • Ability to present data and recommendations in a meaningful way
  • Articulate, confident and fluent communication skills



Additional Information

Work at home requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense. A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required. Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role. A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Interview Format:

Video Interviews: As part of our hiring process, we will be using an exciting interviewing technology provided by ModernHire, a third-party vendor. As a work at home (WAH) position, Humana will be deploying virtual and video technologies for all hiring activities.
