Responsibilities

How Will You Contribute to the Company?

Works with Distributors, Partners, and Sales Team to ensure Purchase Orders are processed in a timely manner to allow for on-time delivery per the SLA. The focus for this position is to ensure that purchase orders are processed accurately, and that customer's concerns/needs are addressed professionally and promptly . I n the event of late shipments, be proactive in keeping the customers and other internal key personnel informed of future revised shipment dates.

What Will You Do?

  • Process Purchase Orders received from Distribution in an accurate and timely manner
  • Meets customers' needs and expectation by providing them with information and/or documents such as those listed below:
    • Service Order Confirmations
    • Service Product Information
    • Inquiries about pricing, transportation costs and arrangements, product availability, order status and estimated delivery, etc.


Other Responsibilities:

  • Requests for quotes, terms, and special products
  • Other customer questions and concerns including special requests
  • Provides exceptional Customer Service by always being available for customer's phone calls and ensuring phones are staffed properly per Sales Operation Management guidelines
  • Enters orders accurately and timely finding the best available delivery dates to satisfy the customer's request and communicating as appropriate with customers and internal employees as necessary to ensure the organization is aligned with the details of the order
  • Ensure customer receives an order confirmation for each o rder received
  • Assures customer questions are handled promptly, efficiently, and accurately by knowing the appropriate person to contact
  • Daily/as needed updating of orders based on ever-changing information provided by Supply Chain
  • Enter and update new customers and customers' master records as needed in Sales Force
  • Recommends process improvements in support of improved customer service
  • Maintain an organized work area including keeping policies, procedures and literature organized and updated
  • Assists in achieving the goals of the department and the business by performing other duties as assigned



Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to work on a variety of projects
  • Able to exercise reasoned judgment
  • Basic proficient with personal computers
  • Able to adapt to change and understand the needs of the customer and the business
  • "Go with the flow" attitude and willingness to help out wherever needed
