Primary Responsibilities

The AOM (Advanced Order Management) Coordinator is responsible for collaborating with the regional sales team and Corporate AOM team to effectively ensure the timely and accurate submission, tracking and disposition of all sales events that require an AOM. The AOM Coordinator reports directly to the Demand Planning Manager.

Essential Functions

  • Submission of all AOMs within assigned region.
  • Responsible for the timely review of all AOMs for accuracy before submission.
  • Accountable to keep up to date on all processes and procedures for AOMs and to follow them accordingly.
  • Collaboration with assigned Regional Sales team for new item inventory (POD consolidation) and on time arrival of inventory
  • Partner with Corporate AOM team on all issues with AOMs related to assigned region.
  • Consistent forecasting methodology on promos and new items, with better data resources available
  • Ownership of inbound compliance, outbound execution, and past due metrics. True ownership would still lie with the account managers
  • AOM input in the regions would be seen through consistency, reduction of errors, improved lead time, less expediting, less multiple PO 's, and better execution.
  • Partner with Corporate AOM team to collaborate better with the sales teams, improve inbound AOM processes that receive little attention today, and improve the RPR process.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude

  • High school diploma or GED Required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years clerical experience preferred
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office Products

The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. The employee is frequently required to sit. Occasional travel required. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is subject to a typical office environment and is rarely exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
