The position can be located in our Tucson facility or one of our many Bruker offices around the country. Remote work may also be an option although not preferred.

Responsibilities

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

As part of the order administration team this role plays an important part in preparing orders for shipment. This administrator is responsible for the review of sales orders, customers and all entities involved in the sales order for export viability. As the person who provides initial export screening, they will be required to follow US Export Regulations and Bruker Global Export Compliance Policies, including the responsibility for escalation to Senior ECO officer should initial screening results indicate a suspect party. In addition to daily export review, specifically, this administrator shares team's responsibilities for timely review and release of sales orders in total.

  • Review and Release of BNSM worldwide Global Trade Services hits and verify compliance with internal export controls.
  • Ensure complete and proper export documentation is on record and in compliance with audit procedures.
  • Responsible for Escalation to Compliance Manager for true match and complex cases.
  • Run daily reports to identify and clear or escalate orders caught in relation to the material export classification, 744.21 and FPDPR Regulations.
  • Perform End Customer due diligence related to orders caught under the 744.21 and the FPDPR Regulations.
  • Monitor SAP transactions for those relevant for OFAC sanction countries and complete screening to clear or escalate to compliance manager


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Stay informed of current changes in US Export Regulations and take appropriate action to maintain compliance standards.
  • Support global administration as needed.
  • Assist with order administration responses to internal audit inquiries.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Qualifications

  • Must be Detail oriented.
  • Requires excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Possess critical thinking skills and proven ability to practice good judgement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Experience with SAP, a plus
  • Knowledge of Global Trade Services module, a plus.


EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School education required. AA or AS business degree, a plus.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Export compliance, Order Administration, or related field.
