As the Optima Solutions Senior Manager, you will support customer accounts and product layers to deploy, plan and implement the Optima strategy and all the standardized and systematic methodologies for the most cost effective and efficient management of the organization's activities at the teams of those accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive organizational optimization with a constant focus on minimizing costs associated with the delivery of services while meeting the needs for customer support
• Assures that Secure Launch is used and ensures all aspects of Launch activities align with PPG WAY pillars such as Safety, Quality, Business Conduct, Code of Ethics, Product Stewardship, export control
• Provides product problem solving expertise; serves as an expert resource to resolve or lead the resolution of crisis situations involving products or application issues for customers
• Develop demand planning processes, is a gatekeeper for new technologies and products, and, working with the account director, is a key voice in the development of Customer specific strategies
• Develop and emphasize the use of Sigma Logic methods such as DMAIC and FMEAs in the management of all technologies during the course of operations within Customer sites
• Review all metrics and drive topic-specific initiatives to identify and eradicate persistent problems; ensure budget commitments are met
• Prioritizes EH&S with a daily cadence and establishes procedures in alignment with PPG and customer programs and policies on this area
• Develops the talent pool to cover potential gaps and builds an organization that challenges convention and seeks opportunities to be more efficient in all phases of activity; champions engagement via the PPG Voice process
• Required travel: 25%

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years' experience in a commercial or technical service role with a proven record of leadership, sales achievements and people management
• Experience in managing across regional, country and team boundaries
• Demonstrable market and customer awareness, financial management, and product technical knowledge including detailed coatings, specialist products, equipment and processes
• Ability to lead a large team and interface effectively with technical, sales, marketing and manufacturing management.
