Job Purpose:

Under the direction of the Retirement Manager, this position is responsible for various fee and accounting related processes to include: effectively communicating with customers to provide expertise and guidance in the relationship to their respective business area; accurately complete daily work and tasks; prepare necessary reports, paperwork, staying current on product, process and system knowledge; assist with system and process documentation; documenting procedures and the development and delivery of training. All these responsibilities are performed within the deadlines dictated by regulatory compliance rules, client metrics and time standards established by retirement operations.

General Profile:

  • Requires knowledge and experience in operation of retirement plans
  • Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services
  • Works independently
  • Generates solutions to improve team performance and processes



Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily Business as Usual (BAU) duties, such as, but not limited to, processing of fee workflow tasks, review plans for past due fees, monitor and handle requests in team mailbox
  • Meet or exceed department metrics and service level agreement standards
  • Assist individuals, both internal and external business areas, with fee related inquires
  • Develop, update, and maintain procedure documentation in accordance with corporate standards
  • Effectively communicate in a professional manner to individuals at all levels

Job Requirements:

List of general education, background and experience, knowledge, skills and abilities typically required to effectively perform the responsibilities of the job. Also include any required licenses and/or designations.

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field or applicable experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience and/or demonstrated skills in the financial services and/or retirement industry.
  • Ability to think critically, perform in-depth research and independently problem solve
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with individuals at all levels.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently with little direction.
  • Demonstrated advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to train others formally and informally
  • Proven teamwork and collaboration with diverse groups
  • Ability to understand and ethically navigate the organizational dynamics and company culture

Compensation may vary based on the job level, your geographic work location, position incentive plan and exemption status.

Base Salary Range:
$34,500.00 - $51,800.00
