The Opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring an Operations Administrator to join our team at Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati , Ohio . As an Operations Administrator, you will a ssist the main commissary and concession department managers with daily stand opening and closing functions, and ensure associates and operations documents comply with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Audit stand sheets from the previous event, keeping track of changes in inventory sales and high counts of spoilage. Obtain stand leader approvals of changes.
• Record the sales of each location in an excel document noting sales from each event giving maximums, minimums, averages, and totals for the entirety of the season.
• Record the over short of each location for every event.
• Track food spoilage for each location in an excel document that highlights high counts in spoilage and gives an average for the entire season.
• Test food for temperature, quality, and taste.
• Assist in checking out each stand, ensuring proper paperwork is complete and put in proper order, and signatures are received. Coordinate end-of-night procedures between checkout and level leaders.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years old.
• Experience in accounting, administration or management experience preferred.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and holidays.
• Excellent guest service skills.
• Efficient with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
• Basic math skills; ability to accurately account for cash and inventory.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with staff and to prepare written stand reports after each event.
• Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to direct the work activities of several associates simultaneously and plan.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent walking throughout the entire facility, for the entire length of shift.
• Constant standing, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions.
• Ability to perform normal lifting of stock up to 30 pounds.
• Exposure to variable temperatures depending on the season.
