We are looking for an Operations Admin to join our fast-growing Washington, DC team. The ideal candidate should be a stickler for detail, proactive, skilled in general administration and vendor management. The role is primarily responsible for coordinating with all of our suppliers and utility providers for our apartments, administering expenses, as well as ensuring that existing units are perfect for our guests, and handling any issues or emergencies that arise. These issues include but are not limited to handling guest lockouts, emergency relocations, as well as keeping Operations Managers informed of potential repairs and actions being taken.

What you will focus on:

  • Manage scheduling of issues resolution around our guests, while handling any guest concerns, requests, maintenance matters/repairs and technology issues (e.g., supervising handyman/locksmith/plumber, managing deliveries, handling building maintenance/follow-up, resolving WIFI/TV issues, etc.)
  • Order, create an inventory list and maintain supplies for the janitorial vendors
  • Carry out Blueground homes walkthroughs to ensure all quality assurance criteria are met when it comes to post maintenance/service requests, interiors/furnishing specifications, and overall design and aesthetics
  • Perform unit check-in & check-outs before and after every guest stay to ensure each apartment meets business + guest quality standards
  • Oversee a clean and organized storage unit at all times
  • Be the main point of contact between our vendors and our Operations team
  • Support our Operations Managers in general administrative tasks such as setting up utility accounts for new apartments and troubleshooting issues with existing accounts, mail distribution for the office, and logging in invoices into a Google Sheet
  • Balance workflow processes with independent on-the-go work and desk-based tasks (e.g., email, slack, G-suite, phone)
  • Additional tasks may include:
  • Assist with coordination of office events and activities
  • Provide assistance to Operations Managers during apartment installations
  • Perform check-in/outs to our properties according to business standards

  • Confident user of technology (email, slack, G suite)
  • Access to a reliable vehicle & clean driver's license will be considered a plus
  • A positive, driven, upbeat and friendly personality
