DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW:

The Operational Commercial Engines (OCE) Model Manager - Task Execution, within Mature Commercial Engines (MCE) is a core program management leader of the OCE model management team.

This individual will have delegated responsibility to drive and manage project objectives and support financial milestones across enterprise organizations in support of the OCE (PW4000/2000/Legacy) Program plans.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain program schedules to support task execution, and coordinate with Industrial Management, CIPTs, and other groups to assure on-time achievement of critical program milestones, deliverables, and material.

• Support the management of the annual E&D budget for OCE programs.

• As one of the office focal for the CIPTs, Co-lead waterline reviews and approve task plans, task ticket work scopes, budgets, and deliverables.

• Support the IPMT process across OCE programs by serving as the facilitator of IPMT meetings.

• Assist with preparation and delivery of periodic program management reviews.

• Assist with resolution of critical customer issues, support one company initiatives, and special projects.

• In collaboration with the Partnership Program Office, establish annual E&D plans with program partners that align with program objectives and ensure on-time achievement of those activities.

• Provide leadership and support on key CORE initiatives.

• Assist with tracking of critical parts for the program shop visits that have been identified, communicate customer needs and work stop dates, provide MRP recovery analysis, investigate / develop recovery plans and communicate new delivery stream to key stakeholders.

• Support both strategic and tactical requests to expedite aftermarket production hardware and/or mitigate risks/gaps.

• Collaborate with MC&O & Requirements Planning personnel to develop strategies which ensure sufficient capacity to meet customer demand.

• Engage closely with CE aftermarket and utilize CORE tools and processes to efficiently achieve pertinent control tower metrics.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• US Person status required due to government contracts.

• A University Degree and 8+ years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 5+ years of experience

• Demonstrated ability to manage simultaneous project costs, scope, and schedule efficiently across all available enterprise tools and/or systems

• Experience successfully leading enterprise-wide cross-functional teams to meet overall business objectives.

• Availability for and willingness to travel up to 10% annually, with typical durations of 3-5 days at one time.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree concentration in Business, Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or another Technical Field

• PMP Certification

• CORE, ACE or Six-Sigma certification

• Program and/or model management experience

• Substantial knowledge of Pratt & Whitney and/or Raytheon Technologies projects, programs or systems.

• Demonstrated leadership competencies, which should include:

  • Focus on Results; Teamwork; Communication, Listening Skills, and a proven ability to listen, negotiate, influence, and persuade others
  • Excellent problem-solving skills; proactive and solution oriented professional with excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills for audiences at all levels of P&W
  • Demonstrated experience in developing relationships; able to develop credibility and respect with individuals at all organizational levels
  • Experience in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Ability to take initiative and ownership of assigned projects/initiatives and independently drive for results.
  • Excellent teamwork & leadership skills and have a track record of delivering results in a cross-functional team environment
