Join the New Braunfels, TX team for the exciting journey of a new facility start-up (Greenfield). The $110 million facility will manufacture Advanced Driver Assistance Systems for automated and assisted driving. Join the Continental team that manufactures products that save lives everyday!

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Own the Bill of Material release in the local SAP system for the New Braunfels plant. Investigate discrepancies in BOMs and drive to problem resolution. Create production PICCs to compare electronic component placement to the BOM.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:• Work with NPLM (New Products Launch Manager) and global release teams on new Bill of Materials for the local New Braunfels plant SAP system• Setup all materials (raw, semi, fins) and extend views in local SAP system• Manually update components due to local requirements (local BOM change, etc)• Verify correct version in local SAP system• Develop production reference documentation (PICC) to compare electronic component placement with BOM• Create/maintain documentation/work instructions for NPL Build Coordinators• Setup materials as trading goods in case of warehouse passthrough material (from other plants to local customers)• Assign routings and work centers• Allocate materials in standard frontend process for proper MES function• In case of inventory discrepancies, research and problem solve possible incorrect items in BOMs

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:• High School Diploma or GED• 3+ years experience working with internal or external customers.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Excellent organization and attention-to-detail skills.• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.• Must be able to work hours required to support customers over the 24X7 schedule as required.

Relocation is not available for this opening.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:• Associate's Degree• Experience using SAP system• Customer service experience supporting a manufacturing environment
