WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
With a personal commitment and investment in recruiting and hiring the highest caliber leadership coaches in the industry, the candidate will support the Manager, New Coach Enrollment with all recruitment, screening, hiring, and enrollment activities needed to onboard new coaches into Sounding Board. The candidate will develop an understanding of the key drivers of success to ensure that diverse and talented coaches are hired to align with the growing business needs of the company. The candidate will also help build a strategic approach to ensuring recruitment, screening, and hiring processes can scale with the growth of the business globally, organizing, adapting, and evolving standard operating procedures to support the strategy. Finally, the successful candidate will find creative and innovative ways to maintain engagement between Sounding Board and “Basecamp” coaches who have been selected to work for Sounding Board but have not yet been enrolled in our new coach training program.
The candidate will partner closely with the leaders of the Coaching Services and Human Resources functions, the chief coaching officer, other leaders in the coach community, and the network of global contracted coaches to ensure a successful onboarding of new coaches. The candidate will also partner closely with Sounding Board staff to successfully bridge the business and coaching sides of the enterprise to align all of the organization’s functions with its commitment to being a coach-focused, leadership development organization. Through support and coordination of Sounding Board’s new coach recruitment and hiring processes, this candidate will support Sounding Board in maintaining the highest caliber of coaches in the coaching industry.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
Lead the coordination of logistics for our robust coach recruitment, interview, and hiring processes and strategies leveraging several technology solutions
Conduct initial reviews of coach applications received and organize applications within the vendor management system
Manage the scheduling and coordination of the new coach interview experiences utilized by Sounding Board
Oversee all contracting, onboarding, and background check processes for all new coach applicants
Conduct recruitment efforts, including the scheduling of recruitment webinars, to source coach applicants around the globe with the specific skills and talents needed to align with Sounding Board’s growing business needs
Schedule learning and engagement events for coach applicants upon hiring and prior to onboarding
Partner with the Coach Development Manager to:
Schedule and project manage the onboarding of new coaches into Sounding Board’s new coach training program
Ensure Sounding Board University and other forms of technology are leveraged to automate as much of the logistical management of the coach recruitment, selection, and screening processes
Ensure all events scheduled to support the recruitment and screening of coach candidates are coordinated alongside other events scheduled by Coaching Services
Ensure hired coaches successfully transition into Sounding Board’s new coach training program
Be a knowledgeable point of contact within the Sounding Board Coaching Services team, as well as within the Sounding Board coach community, modeling the company values and The SB Way
Provide support to coach applicants in navigating the learning management system as they go through the application and hiring process
WHAT EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS DO I NEED?
Bachelor’s degree, preferably related to adult learning and development, business, customer service, or human resources
3-5 years professional experience in human resources or recruiting
Experience working within organizations operating globally strongly preferred
Knowledge of and/or experience working within the professional coaching industry is preferred, but not required
