Job Summary
Amentum is seeking a Network Administrator in Portsmouth, VA.
The selected individual will:
- Provide support and knowledge of networking protocols, standards, and security (i.e. SSL and IPsec VPNs, IPv4 and IPv6addressing, static routing, OSPF and OSPFv3, NAT, SecurityZones, IP and Services filtering, Windows Server DHCP, NPS, RADIUS, 802.1x, 802.11 (b/g/n), link aggregation, VLANS, T1s)
- Provide support and engineering for Cisco and Juniper operating systems (i.e. JunOS, ScreenOS and the related network devices)
- Provide support and knowledge of DoD IA and STIGs
Minimum Requirements
- Associates Degree is preferred in a related discipline augmented by ongoing academic/technical training and/or certification programs specific to the work unit hardware/software tools and 2 or more years' experience in the field
- 2 years of job-related experience
- Active secret clearance and the ability to obtain a top secret clearance after start date
- U.S. citizenship
