Job Requirements:• Work as part of DistributedData Protection Team to maintain backup infrastructure, improve backup systemsperformance and develop new enhancement and services for netback upinfrastructure.• Monitor and maintain all backupinfrastructure including serves, tape libraries and disk arrays. Coordinatewith Vendors on issues with software, hardware or the interaction between thetwo.• Conduct capacity planning andperformance analysis of backup infrastructure.• Deploy Projects to upgradeexisting infrastructure or deploy new system to increase performance orcapacity.• Respond to and resolve escalatedcustomer related issues. Utilise scripting skills and in depth knowledge ofboth netbackup, Google Actifio, EMC Data Domain, EMC Networker and IBM Tapelibraries.• Provide Technical advice anddirection to backup technicians and backup administrators.

Technical Skills Required

1. 10- 12 years strong experience inVERITAS Net backup Product all versions till 9.1.

2. Linux system administration experience

3. Extensive Experience in installing,configuring Backup Infrastructures, Do Versions upgrades, Migration from oneplatform to another.

4. Experience in disaster Recovery solutions

5. Experience in implementing and applyingReplication, Encryption, Immutability , cyber security , legal hold, isolationrecovery on critical data

6. Extensive backup troubleshooting experience.

7. Experience with IBM TS4500, TS4300, andTS3310 in installation, configuration and supporting hardware.

8. Experience with EMC Data Domain DD880,DD6900, DD9400, DD9900, Install configure and supporting hardware and software

9. Experience in Google Actifio System withinstall, build, configure and supporting it.

10. Performance and Capacity monitoring andtuning backup Infrastructure.

11. Experience in setting Backup Domain forCloud Infrastructure.

12. Experience in VADP (VMware) and NDMPBackup configuration and supporting issues.

13. Experience in Implementing ReportingTool (Hitachi Storage viewer) for daily capacity review and billing internalcustomer for data usage.
