Job Description

ASRC Federal Technical Services is seeking anNCMS Technical Specialistto join ourteam that supports the Federal Aviation Administration in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. This role will make an impact by meeting the future needs of our FAA customer that includes securing data across networks in theenterprise.

Work with infrastructure team to conduct system configuration, system testing and system deployment. 2nd level support for hosted virtual machines and operation production sites.

Required:

  • Familiarity with data encryption
  • Use of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)
  • Background with Security Operations
  • Network Switch maintenance use
  • Experience with VMware products and/or ESXi
  • Experience support system testing and deployment planning
  • Detail oriented in documentation and motivated in learning
  • Work with multiple teams and excellent communication
  • Ability to work independently


Preferred:

  • Experience with FIPS 140-2 compliance
  • Experience with Cyber Operations including investigations, monitoring, detection
  • Experience with ArcSight Logger with provides big data security analytics and intelligence software for security information and event management and log management
  • Experience with Splunk Client formonitoring and searching through big data. It indexes and correlates information in a container that makes it searchable, and makes it possible to generate alerts, reports and visualizations
  • Experience with Red Hat Linux (RHEL) RDX Repository
  • Experience with Commvault backup(s)
  • Experience with enterprise monitoring tools
  • Experience with network configuration (Cisco), network monitoring tools

Requirements

We are looking for Technical Specialist for our Enterprise Services Development Support Sub-Team.

  • High School Diploma or GED required and fifteen (15) years of related experience including at least ten (10) years of NAS experience. Demonstrated expertise at Technical Specialist 3 level. An Associate's Degree in a related
    field will be accepted in lieu of two (2) years of experience. A Bachelor's Degree in a related field will be accepted in lieu of four (4) years of experience.
  • Highly motivated talent with server, infrastructure support background.
  • Works independently under general guidelines and objectives.
  • Provides expertise relevant to the technical operation and/or maintenance of the NAS.
  • Knowledgeable of both state-of-the-art and aging technologies that comprise the FAA's NAS and the products from emerging NAS modernization programs.
  • Interfaces with specialists from other backgrounds such as hardware, software, logistic support, and testing to produce fully integrated and responsive components and systems.
