The Opportunity

As the company continues to grow we are seeking a North America Regional Supply Chain Director. The NA Regional Supply Chain Director will be responsible for the strategic leadership of the North American Supply Chain region partnering with Customer Service, Operations, Planning, Procurement (both direct and Indirect), and regional Master Data. With direct oversite of Import/Export, Distribution and Warehousing activities for the Ortho product portfolio including spare parts.

Position can be based in Rochester, NY, Raritan, NJ, Pompano, FL, Memphis, TN, and remote work options will be considered.

The Responsibilities

• Develop strategy and vision by partnering closely with regional and global stakeholders to optimize end to end supply chain processes in support of meeting/exceeding customer expectations, and ensuring their needs are met by delivering the right products on time, with high levels of quality at optimal costs across the region.
• Responsible for regional transportation services function and its third-party relationships. This includes developing, implementing and administering systems, procedures and processes and providing effective transportation services to meet customer service levels, revenue objectives, and import/export compliance regulations while minimizing risk and overall costs.
• Oversight of the Memphis Warehouse and supply chain performance.
• Continuously develops supply chain personnel and other key talent within the regional organization.
• Make strategic recommendations for the business considering regional service and profitability elements.
• Direct managers and their teams working on driving functional excellence. Drive regional supply chain metrics.
• Manage critical supply chain activities for major projects such as Warehouse WMS, new product introductions, regional systems implementations, logistics network transformation and work closely with the supply organization to deliver high customer service levels.

The Individual

• A Bachelors Degree, preferably in a Technical Discipline (Logistics, Operations, Engineering, Business, Finance, IT or related). MBA or equivalent Masters degree is desirable.
• 8-10 years of related operations management & leadership to include experience in areas such as: manufacturing plant management, planning/materials management, logistics, warehousing and sourcing/procurement required, Multi-state operations management experience a plus.
• Required Travel- 20% mostly domestic.
