McKesson is hiring for this Digital Event Producer in the Dallas, TX area. Candidates must be local to the area and this role will be based partly in-office.

Position Summary

The A/V & Digital Event Producer/Multi-Media Technical Event Specialist is responsible for creating and deploying all digital events for McKesson. Providing a way to simultaneously save capital and reach a broader audience; Digital Events are the future for both the Events Industry and McKesson. The digital event platform is relatively new, so the ideal candidate will not only be able to execute events under tight deadlines but will also be able to take the solution to the next level of sophistication.

Reporting to the Director, Digital & Virtual Operations, the Digital Event Producer will have proven experience in operating a variety of technical equipment within an AV, Broadcast, or Production capacity. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented with a passion for all things digital events, have a keen knack for multi-tasking, is collaborative by nature, unshakable composure under pressure, and will be adept at fostering strong relationships across the organization, working closely with a range of internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan the setup, registration, execution, and post-event measurement of a

digital event.
• Partner with internal clients / Corp. Comm. to design, plan and execute digital

events.
• Consultation and design of systems and components required to operate

meeting and accomplish client's objectives. Advise clients on the solution that

best fits their needs.
• Communicate effectively to explain our services offerings to all McKesson

stakeholders.
• Create and execute project plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing

needs and requirements.
• Confidence to troubleshoot technical issues and partner with McKesson

Technology to resolve complex problems.
• Setup and breakdown of AV event equipment including of event equipment

(including video switchers/encoders, cameras, lighting, and audio).
• Manage equipment inventory at McKesson Headquarters.
• Serve in dual role of Technical Director and Co-Producer to "call the show".
• Keep up with industry trends and emerging technology and continuously

improve our processes.
• Provide detailed metrics to clients including call reports, registration list, Q&A

transcript etc.• Contribute to and abide by SOP documents, completing detailed event reporting

(After Action Reviews for all events including post-event analysis and statistics).
• Ability to customize internal video portal to suite branding and technical

requirements.
• Ensure appropriate permissions are applied to secure company confidential

content.
• Onsite responsibility for Conference Center Events and technical needs.
• Ensuring all technology is in a constant state of readiness.
• Maintain A/V systems and equipment, partnering with appropriate vendors to

ensure all equipment is working.
• Support Executive level events by providing meeting kick-offs and in room

technical support.
• Monitor assigned video conferencing calls on end user's event sites (as

needed).
• Perform ongoing Q/A tests and updates as necessary and based on customer

experience to include, performing software updates, system maintenance and

system backups and maintaining accurate inventory of assets.

Typical Minimum Qualifications
• Requires 2-5+ years of professional experience and 2-5+ years of diversified

leadership, planning, communication, organization, and people motivation

skills (or equivalent experience).
• 4-year degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work

experience.
• 2-5+ years in digital event management and/or technical field (i.e., Broadcast

television, live events)
• DES certification preferred.
• CTS certification preferred.

Critical Skills
• Must have working knowledge of Production Video Switchers (TriCaster or

equivalent).
• Proficient with MAC and PC platforms, Adobe Creative software is a plus

(Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator)
• Strong experience with planning and execution of in-person, hybrid, and virtual

events.
• Experience with webcasting fundamentals (i.e streaming, graphics, and

advanced networking).
• Familiarity with event production technologies/services (i.e., has partnered

with audio/visual and production crews)
• Superior project management skills.
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills in working effectively

with external/internal customers.
• Ability to multitask operations/projects, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative. Be proactive with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
• Demonstrate confidence, professionalism, responsiveness and exceptional

customer service skills.
• Must be comfortable interacting with executives and customers• Excellent project and time management skills to successfully navigate and

complete multiple tasks at once
• High degree of integrity and confidentiality
• Superb work ethic and an established work history
• Presentation, brand, marketing and storytelling experience with an emphasis

on the personal execution and coaching of others
• Healthcare industry marketing or communications experience
• Passionate about people and culture
• Exceptional communication skills, ability to engage and influence at all levels

of the organization
• Ability to navigate and influence within a complex, matrix organization to

develop, communicate, and support company's short-term and long-term

business objectives
• Proven experience and expertise in brand ambassadorship through

transformation - successfully navigating ambiguity, complexity and uncertainty
• Deep understanding of verbal and visual identity and experience incorporating

it into spoken brand with the ability to help identify natural ways of

incorporation for presenters on the team
• Strong business and financial acumen as well as project management

experience
• A demonstrated track record of acting as a thought leader and partner to

executives across multiple teams and geographies balancing the needs of the

enterprise with the needs of the business
• Demonstrated strategic, critical, analytical and innovative thinking skills
• Proven ability to create a positive culture, with high morale and strong

performance
• Strong change management experience
• High level of comfort with data and analytics
