We are seeking a strong and driven QC Manager to support our Mortgage division and bring our long-term vision into a reality.

What You’ll Do

• Provide oversight over QC vendor, ensuring our QC vendor is adhering to the policies and procedures set forth in our Quality Control plan
• Conduct discretionary audits and oversee deficiencies in underwriting work, file documentation, and compliance both pre-funding and post-closing
• Prepare monthly management reports summarizing findings, trends, and corrective actions
• Manage self-reporting to GSE’s and investors
• Oversee Early Payment Default Reviews and ensure timing meets Agency requirements
• Maintain all Quality Control and Fraud policies and procedures 
• Develop positive working relationships with operations department managers to ensure root cause analysis and enhancement of workflows are adopted as needed to eliminate errors identified during monthly Quality Control audits 
• Established defined tracking and follow up on quality control audit findings to ensure root causes are identified and remedied, as well as ensure related procedures are updated to prevent recurrence 

What You’ll Bring

• 3-5 years of relevant mortgage QC experience
• Mortgage compliance experience preferred
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve problems
• Ability to successfully and routinely work within established deadlines
• Ability to interpret rules, regulations, guidelines and apply the interpretation to business processes in a way that others can understand
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to clearly explain sophisticated issues to a range of audiences
• Bachelors Degree
