Mobile Networks Services Unit

The MN S U Digitalization Unit (DU) drives extreme automation with end-to-end architecture as a competitive differentiation for Nokia Services, based on Services Unit delivery models & business requirements. We focus on automation technology strategies and roadmaps, tools and platforms, security and privacy.

Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

What you will learn and contribute to

This position is reporting to the DU Digital Design, Configuration & Optimization Automation (DDCOA) leader and is supporting the delivery of MN S Network Performance Optimization (NPO) solutions. The candidate will have strong interactions with Business Stakeholders from NPO SU or other BGs, Nokia IT, DU Program Directors and other DU Domains in the context of Agile development methodology.

The Solution Domain Manager is supporting multiple programs across the Digitalization Unit. The team is composed of experts ensuring:
  • Business Requirements leveraging Agile methodology
  • Analysis of business requirements including reporting, integration requirements
  • Compliance with Nokia Cyber security and data integrity
  • User Acceptance Test management and documenting user guides
  • Centralized support process
  • Establish cost recovery model and stakeholder agreements

As a Line Manager, the Solution Domain Manager is driving continuous improvement through innovation, change, team development plan in close collaboration with DDCOA leader.

  • Manage team of +7 people in compliance with Nokia HR policies,
  • Define team role and scope of work in alignment with program governance
  • Assess and anticipate resource evolution, align resource plan with business plan and budget; Recruit and manage talent
  • Ensure adequate team skills and competencies vis a vis business challenges and transformation
  • Act as first point of escalation in case concerns, prioritize assignments,
  • Understand Nokia IT process, project management methodology and IT security policies
  • Understand Business Process to be delivered and Transformation objectives,
  • Implement best practice, methodology and frameworks to foster innovation.
  • Satisfy NSA requirements and Access Control List

Your skills and experience

Required Skills
  • At least 5 years of experience in 2G/3G/4G RF network planning and optimization activities,
  • Confirmed LM experience,
  • +10 years of experience managing IT solution development and /or deployment projects,
  • Good stakeholder management,
  • Decision maker and capability to influence others,
  • Positive and voluntary mindset ability to manage a team and effectively manage our projects,
  • Ability to build and leverage internal network,
  • Service business acumen,
  • Capability to inspire and keep high motivation in a team,
  • Excellent oral and written communication in English.
