Migration Specialist, Cloud

You will work cross functionally and will coordinate internal teams along the Sales Process to ensure the customer is provided with effective and knowledgeable service.
In this role, the primary responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Taking appropriate actions to increase our net logos and winning Cloud business by meeting prospective customers, developing a deep understanding of their current and future environment.
- Create and drive revenue within a specified territory by developing strategic territory business plans
- Lead the deeper qualification phase and develop a customer relationship at the point of the customer's initial interest
- Learn to effectively demo our Genesys Cloud functionality to initiate compelling sales conversations and identify opportunities for migration to Cloud
- Understand key industry and business challenges and required outcomes for the customer and effectively articulate the value proposition of the Genesys solution.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
You will do all of this while maintaining a vibrant pipeline for consistent success, building new relationships, and maintaining longstanding relationships. Additionally, you will constantly be an advocate for the upsell and cross sell opportunities with existing customers and at all times a Brand Ambassador for Genesys.
Other requirements
- 5+ years of experience of software sales experience
- Strong preference for Cloud sales
- Familiarity and comfort with subscription sales
- Track record of hitting your targets
- Either working in direct or indirect sales
- Be able to discuss pace and frequency of closing deals on a consistent basis
