Job Description

The Middleware Infrastructure Technical Support Analyst is responsible for coordinating and/or performing day-to-day technical tasks for a project and is responsible for one complex client or multiple clients where complexity is based on the relationship with the client and/or the scope of services provided. Duties may span all Practice Areas involved (i.e., Design/Build/Run, Operations Architecture, System Administration, and other technical frameworks, etc.). The Technical Support Analyst will be an experienced member of the technology team who will be responsible for providing support for the technical infrastructure of the middleware solution across all production stacks and providing insight and recommendations to the project leadership. This position requires interaction with both other Accenture teams, offshore support teams and client teams.

The Work:
  • Provide technical support and system administration for Middleware technologies including WebLogic Oracle Fusion Middleware stack & supporting components across incident, change and problem management
  • Work with users, application and infrastructure support teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across non-production and production environments
  • Provide rotational On-Call and Shift Support for priority issues, maintenance activities and release management support
  • Support maintenance activities for infrastructure components including OS, network & database patch management
  • Perform Vulnerability Remediation through regular Middleware Patching activities


For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.

Here's What you Need:
  • Strong automation experience with Bash and WLST
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in production middleware environments.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in any of the Middleware related tools and application servers.
  • Example of some of the application servers / tools are mentioned below:
    • Oracle WebLogic
    • Oracle Fusion Middleware
  • A minimum of 2 years of Linux Operating System / knowledge of system commands and structures
  • Process improvement / including documenting and implementation of processes
  • Experience with prioritizing work requests
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)


Bonus Points if:
  • Deep understanding and experience in back-up, recovery
  • Experience supporting interfaces
  • Process improvement / including documenting and implementation of processes
  • Disaster Recovery planning/testing Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Assist in the definition and implementation of process improvement
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize and complete task within schedule
  • Ability to resolve technical issues and escalate issues when appropriate
  • MyScheduling Skills: IBM WebSphere Application Server Administration, JBoss Application, Server Administration, Oracle Fusion, Middleware WebLogic Server Admin (WLS), Red Hat, JBOSS, Enterprise Application Platform (EAP), IBM WebSphere Application Server, Oracle Weblogic Application Server Administration
  • F5 load balancer Virtual Server and Pool administration
  • Understanding of Clustering and High Availability concepts


As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $71,172 - $117,800 and information on benefits offered is here.
