• Issues Requests for Proposals/Quotes, performing proposal fact-finding and Price and Cost Analysis, developing negotiation strategies utilizing supplier cost & pricing data, contract terms and conditions and preparing contractual documents and binding agreements.
• Manages supplier performance to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability and other key support to programs. In addition, the team will be responsible for driving for cultivating and maintaining the supplier relationship.
• Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies.
• Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management.
• Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.

"US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• More than 1 year of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience negotiating directly with suppliers.
• More than 1 year of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations).
• Experience resolving errors between supply chain systems such as GOLD, Mechanized Spares Management System (MSMS) or Network Procurement (NWP).
• More than 1 year of experience in proposal development.
• More than 1 year of experience negotiating non-competitive, government procurements that exceed the Truth In Negotiations Act (TINA) threshold.
