Microsoft/Office 365 Administrator

West Monroe is looking for a Microsoft/Office 365 Administrator to join our Corporate IT team, branded Information & Collaboration Technology (ICT). As a primary focus, the administrator will collaborate in a team environment to maintain and improve our firm’s enterprise Microsoft O365/Windows ecosystem. Additionally, they will assume a lead role in ensuring planned cloud-application migration projects are seen through to completion. Responsibilities:
- Provide IT administration and support for the firm’s Microsoft Office 365/Exchange ecosystem, working in a team environment to ensure 24x7 availability of critical applications and systems
- Manage Active Directory ecosystem, O365 subscriptions, and employee licenses, user groups, rights, and permissions
- Play a pivotal role in O365/cloud application migrations, Microsoft/Windows upgrades, and other business application deployment projects
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments and technology teams on ad hoc project work to introduce new Microsoft/Windows solutions that support various business operations
- Develop and maintain technical documentation related to configuration, troubleshoot guides, user guides, FAQs, etc.
- Stay abreast of advancements in the industry and act as ICT’s SME for Microsoft/O365 best practices, optimization, and the introduction of new features
- Troubleshoot escalated Microsoft/O365 issues per the ticket queue as tier 2/3 support
- Support broader ICT infrastructure tasks and projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred, or equivalent experience required
- Professional Services and/or Consulting industry experience preferred
- 3-5+ years of experience working in an IT administrator capacity, supporting Microsoft Office/M365 and other Windows applications
- Hands-on technical administration experience with multiple of the following: Office 365, MS Exchange (Hybrid)/Outlook, Active Directory, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Azure AD Connect
- Preference for hands-on experience with Azure AD and broader Azure applications
- Preference for O365/cloud application migration experience
- Proficient analytical skills with the ability to learn and apply new technologies and MS features
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Comfortability collaborating with a team in a fast-paced/high-growth, corporate IT environment
- Bonus skills/experience – PowerShell scripting, Power Platform applications (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate), MS Intune, SCCM
