Job Description

Role Overview...
The Manager, Ecosystem Partnerships, reporting to Dir, Partnership Strategy & Program Management is responsible for supporting the creation and execution of strategic activities across the full breadth of platform partners. This role will successfully support a shared vision through external partnership and collaboration with internal functional areas and stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution of the partnerships and associated sales opportunities. Areas of focus will include engagement with potential and existing partners that provide services to employers across all segments. We’re looking for someone who is a proven program manager, possessing a demonstrated ability to collaborate and manage deliverables across matrixed functions and systems to implement and track partner and program services which are integrated with core Accolade capabilities. 

A day in the life…  

  • Provide leadership and work in close collaboration with the VP Director of Partnerships on the commercial go-to-market planning and strategy for the P&EP team to achieve revenue goals
  • In collaboration with Partner Launch Manager, develop a repeatable program to accelerate successful onboard, launch, project management of partners (internal and external)
  • Support coordination and execution of partner operating plans where coordination with Accolade counterparts is required (marketing, product development, operations, sales)
  • Develop and coordinate the annual sales plan for platform partners
  • Develop and maintain a profile including a relationship map for partners and ensure cross-functional relationships get developed across functional areas and executive management
  • Develop and maintain processes to ensure cross-functional alignment on all partner information relative to success of the relationship 
  • Own responsibilities for competition and segment research areas for the team
  • Serve as a resource to support the entire sales team on an as-needed basis
  • Assist with all aspects of a partner relationship including but not limited to:
  • Partner business rhythm and meeting planning 
  • Commercial strategy
  • Reporting and performance reviews
  • Ensure accurate and timely compliance with CRM (SalesForce.com)
  • Work with Customer Partnership team (account mgmt.), Clinical Innovation and Solutions Management to identify opportunities to enhance relationships with strategic partners.


Qualifications

What we are looking for… 

  • Minimum undergraduate degree in Business or Healthcare Management focused discipline 
  • 5+ years experience in external relationship management or partnership strategy, 1-3 years of strong project management experience required
  • Experience in a in Business Development, Sales, Product Development, External Relationship Management, and/or Strategy or equivalent 
  • Must have experience working in a matrix environment to support and influence others including peers, managers and leaders
  • 5+ years experience in 1-3 years of strong project management experience required
  • Understanding and prior experience with healthcare technology and the healthcare ecosystem 
  • Strong business process and marketing background 
  • Knowledge and experience with SalesForce.com or have the ability to assess work in CRM based tools 
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills including business case modeling, Excel modeling and integrated work planning
  • Experience and comfort working in an agile, emerging and fast paced environment
  • Ability to work with external partners and effectively represent the organization
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across organization to support new approaches and work to build consensus
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to articulate product vision and roadmap to stakeholders
