This position requires excellent technical team leadership. We are looking for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 FinOps Development Manager who is passionate about leading, passionate about technology, passionate about quality, and truly enjoys what they do.
UKG works in an environment with daily stand ups and code reviews as well as constant communication within each self-managed multi-functional team. The ability to communicate effectively with Software Engineers, Business System Analysts, Quality Engineers, and DevOps Engineers, as well as work closely with other team members are key components for success in this position.
Primary/Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:
Provide three to ten (3-10) statements, in order of importance, that describe the major activities/functions for which an employee in this job is held accountable.

State what end results the activity is to accomplish.) • Run and implement continuous improvement initiatives• All Manager HR functions including but not limited to hiring, mentoring, keeping a high morale to holding team members accountable• Make sure your team implements any department initiatives including all the high performing team behaviors• Remove impediments• Participate in the project prioritization meetings and communicating information up and down the line• Work closely with security and change management teams to ensure processes, procedures, and best practices all conform to audits that UKG is required to pass• Resource planning to ensure alignment with priorities• Facilitate team communication regarding team issues• Develop and Facilitate a continuous learning environment investing in team members professional growth
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: (If a Bona Fide Occupational Qualification, otherwise it is preferred)
(Knowledge, Skills and Abilities) • 7 years of software engineering or related experience
(Experience, Education, Certification, License and Training) • Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 FinOps• Experience with DevOps practice• Proficiency in the Agile development life cycle• Proficiency in Kanban and Scrum methodologies• Technical problem-solving skills• Experience driving positive change in the team via process improvement• Strong leadership skills and demonstrated ability to coach, inspire and mentor a team• Experience setting goals and focusing on results• Ability to be a leader within the team as well as someone who is able to represent the team within the company• Ability to build and maintain relationships with other groups within the organization• Comfortable working on different projects simultaneously• Strong decision-making skills• Ability to cultivate collaboration• Ability to manage expectations of various people internal and external to the team• Proven track record of delivering scalable, efficient and reliable software services• Broad understanding of various cloud development technologies and trends, developer preferences and challenges• Experience with enterprise application integration • Understand technical risks / issues and assists with options to resolve / mitigate• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
